Also before the Picnic you might like to take your little ones to Rainbow Storytime at the Library with Anglicare Victoria at 11am:

Stories and books are a powerful communication and learning tool for young children. Our choice of stories can be an important way to break down ideas about gender that are limiting or set up certain expectations for children. Having adults read these stories to children role models the use of specific language and reinforces the message the stories are sending.

Please join us for the reading of My Shadow is Pink which is a beautifully written rhyming story that touches on gender, self-acceptance, equality, and diversity. All ages welcome.
