Connecting our LGBTIQA+ communities is at the heart of the work we do. We wouldn’t be able to do this work without the care and support of volunteers, staff, funders and allies that drive our organisation forward.

Our annual report theme is based on the Switchboard tram artwork from this year. Supported by the Yarra Trams Community Partnership Program, the tram is featured in the report as a significant point in time for Switchboard:

A powerful symbol of pride, the tram spread messages of inclusion, safety, and visibility. It encouraged LGBTIQA+ Victorians to learn about our programs and the different ways to engage with us.

It was also more than that. Weaving its way around Melbourne, the tram represented Switchboard’s unwavering commitment to connecting LGBTIQA+ people. To joining the dots, forging networks, creating community. It gave a sense of being part of something bigger. It was a beacon of hope and belonging.
