External Event - World AIDS Day Memorial
Thorne Harbour Health, Living Positive Victoria, the Melbourne AIDS Quilt Project, in conjunction with Positive Women Victoria
About World AIDS Day:
World AIDS Day is an international day of awareness, giving the public and organisations the opportunity to show their support for people affected by HIV/AIDS. Annually, on the 1st of December, the world comes together to mark World AIDS Day. This momentous occasion serves as a worldwide platform for uniting against HIV, displaying support for individuals living with HIV, and remembering those lost to this virus. It's worth mentioning that World AIDS Day, established in 1988, heralded the beginning of global health observance days.
Thorne Harbour Health, Living Positive Victoria, the Melbourne AIDS Quilt Project, in conjunction with Positive Women Victoria, are once again collaborating to host the annual World AIDS Day Memorial.
This year's theme is Remember and Commit.
