Pride in Ageing: Community, Connections & Cuppas
Switchboard’s Pride in Ageing Program
We will share stories and discuss how to reduce social isolation, tackle ageism and improve the future for older LGBTI+ individuals in our regional and rural communities.
Your experience, skills, and innovative ideas will be invaluable in helping others shaping what can happen in your community.
Join Pride in Ageing team in East Gippsland from November 12-15 together with Daniel Witthaus from Rural Pride Australia.
We want to assist you in enabling your attendance. No request is too big.
Can we assist with transport (e.g. taxi voucher, bus/coach pickup)? Let us know how we can help you attend the day.
Do you have any dietary requirements?
Do you require us to provide or cover the cost of a support worker to attend (for yourself, or a person at home so you can attend)?
Are there anything else that we could help you with to assist with your attendance?
Do you have any accessibility and/or comfort needs for the venue eg specific seating arrangements?
What to Expect

Catering will be provided—please let us know your dietary needs.
