QTIBPoC Grounding Series - session 3
The QTIBPoC Grounding Workshops are a series of free workshop events for LGBTQIASB+ Indigenous, Bla(c)k and People of Colour, hosted by the QTIBPoC Program at Switchboard Victoria. Each workshop will be guided by a different QTIBPoC facilitator who will invite participants to reconnect to the self in space and time through a range of expressions and practices. All workshops link back to the theme of grounding.
About the facilitator: Tejo (he/him) is a musician and creative facilitator with a focus on diasporic communities and individual experiences of self-worth and self-love. In 2024, he will complete his studies in Music Therapy and hopes to continue working with marginalised communities in improving access to creative healing using music, breath, yoga, and visual arts.
About the workshop: Tejo's workshop will focus on attaining a connection to the self, using receptive and relaxing methods of music therapy and breath work. You will be guided by music on a journey toward inward acceptance and affirmation.
When: Thursday 11 July, 6:30 - 7:30pm
Where: Moss Studios, 101 Evans Street, Brunswick East, Melbourne
