Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil
This family friendly commemorative event is presented by Transgender Victoria and Yarra Libraries.
TGV is Victoria’s leading body for trans and gender diverse people. They work to achieve justice, equity and inclusion for our communities, and our partners, families, friends, and allies. They aim to achieve better social, economic, health, wellbeing and mental health outcomes for our communities.
Each year we observe Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) to honour the memory of transgender people whose lives have been lost in acts of anti-trans violence, and due to discrimination and stigma.
