Join Switchboard Victoria for an all QTBIPOC Discussion Panel on the theme of change-making, activism and creating communities of care.
Switchboard Victoria are hosting a QTBIPOC Discussion Panel as part of National Volunteer Week.
QTBIPOC Programs and the Suicide Prevention Team have teamed up to deliver an inspiring panel discussion facilitated by Rani Pramesti. Speaking on the Panel are four individuals who are incredible humans and community change makers in their own right. Our speakers are Nawa Sybico, Axel Gee, Gemma Mahadeo, Tejo D'Cruz.
Each will be speaking to their own lived experiences as changemakers, what motivates them to sustain momentum in their work, what is their role in their communities and what are they passionate about. This will be one not to miss.
This event is for the whole LGBTIQA+ community, but will especially speak to experiences of QTBIPOC people. We also particularly welcome volunteers to this event, and any community members who undertake unpaid labour in service to their community.
We encourage Indigenous, Bla(c)k and POC LGBTIQA+ people to feel welcome and to engage in this space.
